British films?

According to BAFTA's, for a film to be 'British' it needs to have an outstanding and British film-making which shows significant creative involvement as well as some tax issues.

• All the Harry Potter film series as well as Paddington could be classified a 'British' films due to their location, being based in the UK. The only quality Gravity possess's to classify itself as a 'British' film is because of the Brit producer David Heyman.

• Harry Potter was identified as a British film because of the choice of landscape as that was also set in Britain as well as the inclusion of Brit actors such as Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson.

• This could be slightly misleading as films such as Gravity include a Mexican Director Alfonso Cuaron Orozco it was located in NASA which is in America and it included American actors. As stated before, the only British quality of the film was due to famous Brit producer Heyman.

• A misleading factor about Paddington is that the bear that is featured in it is Peruvian, with a MEXICAN dog.
